Divorce Discussion Group for Men
The next meeting of a men’s discussion group focusing on divorce will be held on Tues., Nov. 28, 2017 from 6:30 pm until 8 pm at the office of Safe Harbor Child Access Centers, 18 Parker Avenue in Flemington. The group is for men who are separated or divorced, or who are going through a divorce. This is a unique opportunity for men to hear from others, and to provide their own perspectives to other men who are dealing with these issues. The program will be moderated by family law attorney William Rudnik of Gebhardt & Kiefer, P.C., certified financial planner Craig Hyldahl of R.I.C.H. Planning Group, LLC, and Carol Dvoor of Safe Harbor. Food and beverages will be provided. Although not required, please RSVP to Mr. Rudnik at 908-735-5161 so proper arrangements can be made for food and beverages.

On Nov. 21, Richard Cushing will serve as a speaker for a webinar entitled “The Legal Aspects of Electronic Billboards and Signs,” sponsored by the NJ Institute of Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE).

On Nov. 10, William Rudnik will serve as a presenter at a “Hot Tips in Family Law” seminar sponsored by the NJ Institute for Continuing Legal Education. The seminar topic is “Demystifying the Trial: Preparing for and Proceeding to Trial in Matrimonial and Domestic Violence Matters,” and Mr. Rudnik will speak about cross-examining victims in domestic violence trials.

On Nov. 7, Diana Fredericks will serve as a presenter at the Hunterdon County Bar Association’s 2017 Election Day Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Marathon. She will discuss “Hot Tips, Court Rules, Recent Case Law and Legislative Updates in Family Law.” Ms. Fredericks is also the chairperson of the event.

Gebhardt & Kiefer employees generously donated enough school supplies to fill 10 complete backpack kits in support of the United Way of Hunterdon County’s “Tools 4 School” initiative. Gebhardt & Kiefer also provided $1,125 in monetary donations to help purchase additional supplies for elementary, middle and high school students. The donations were delivered to the United Way’s “Stuff the Bus” event on Aug. 7. Attorney Diana Fredericks coordinated the activity for the firm, and also volunteered her time.

The NJ State Bar Association (NJSBA) recently appointed Diana Fredericks to serve as Trustee Liaison for its Public Utility Law Section. The Public Utility Law Section reviews developments in public utility law, and maintains an active liaison with state regulatory entities regarding public utilities. Ms. Fredericks is currently serving her second term as a Trustee for NJSBA representing Hunterdon County.
