On Nov. 15 and 16, Leslie Parikh and Tara St. Angelo will serve as presenters at the League of Municipalities Annual Conference in Atlantic City.  Ms. Parikh’s topics include “NJ Public Sector Law Update” and “Avoiding and Defending Claims Against Local Government,” and Ms. St. Angelo will cover “Emerging Issues in Municipal Use of Social Media” and “OPRA and Right to Know:  Recent Development & Strategies.”

 Bill Rudnik will serve as a presenter at the NJ Institute of Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE) seminar “Hot Tips in Family Law: Are The Kids Alright?,” to be held at the NJ Law Center in New Brunswick on October 9th.  The seminar is sponsored by the NJ State Bar Association in cooperation with organization’s Family Law Section.  Attorneys who attend will receive 5 hours of total CLE credit.

Diana Fredericks has been reappointed to the NJ Supreme Court State Domestic Violence Working Group for the 2023-2025 term.  The working group advises the Supreme Court on systemic issues facing the court system in the area of domestic violence.

On May 11, John Manfreda will present a free Estate Planning seminar at the Hunterdon County Library (North County Branch) in Clinton.  He will cover such topics as estate and gift tax planning, life insurance, retirement planning, asset protection, powers of attorney, elder law, guardianships, and more.  Also presenting will be William Rudnik, who will discuss prenuptial agreements, blended families, and protecting assets in a divorce.  The program begins at 6:30 PM and advance registration is required.  Register here.

On April 25, Leslie Parikh will speak at the Warren County Municipal Clerks Association Mini-Conference.  Her topic will be “Ethics in the Workplace.”  Ms. Parikh is available to present on this and other employment law topics for other organizations upon request.

On April 15, Tara St. Angelo will speak at the Somerset County Bar Association’s 2nd Annual Land Use Law Symposium.  The program will cover all aspects of municipal land use required by DCA regulations for Planning and Zoning Board member mandatory certification.  Ms. St. Angelo’s topics include the Open Public Meetings Act and Land Use Boards.
